Many Kinds of Love
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:3
“I have loved you with an everlasting love.”
Reflection:
Did you know The Bible doesn’t just use one word for love ? In the Greek and Hebrew there are many different words for different kinds of love!
God doesn’t love us in only one kind of way.
He loves us like a parent who keeps us safe (storgē).
He loves us like a best friend who is always there (phileō).
He loves us with a forever-promise love that never quits (chesed).
And He loves us with the strongest love in the world — agape
the kind of love that gives everything for someone!
